POSITION SUMMARY
Finalto is looking to hire a Senior Liquidity and e-Trading Analyst to be based in the London Office.
The ideal candidate is a result oriented, self-motivated, ambitious individual who aspires to maximise revenue for the company. A person who has excellent interpersonal and analytical skills, always looking to strengthen relationships with prime brokers and liquidity providers (bank and non- bank) and embraces a fast paced working environment.
Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Assisting the group and regional heads of liquidity in maintaining and enhancing liquidity provision across the Finalto group.
- Management of the Liquidity products across the entire product lifecycle. Maintaining and improving client / LP configuration, delivering new products, and solving problems in a high throughput production trading context.
- Continuous monitoring of client flow metrics to ensure that pricing models are optimally calibrated against both flow risk profile and client expectations. Adhering to applicable internal and regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining and enhancing existing relationships with liquidity providers. Maintaining contacts and network with the industry to stay in touch with market developments and business opportunities. Proactively addressing pain points.
- Working within the team, and independently where necessary, to enhance existing analytics capabilities utilising Python, KDB & SQL, as well as utilising (and improving) proprietary internal tooling.
- Monitoring and analysing performance of Finalto’s systematic liquidity provision from both a pricing quality and a risk perspective. Expressing ideas to enhance this offering, working in conjunction with our quant trading team.
- Organising and participating in calls with sales teams and clients (both prospective and current) to better understand their needs, in order to provide the best liquidity solution. Troubleshooting technical issues where needed, ensuring clients have a best-in-class risk transfer experience.
- Providing both scheduled and ad-hoc reporting to our clients and liquidity partners, as well as to internal stakeholders.
- Confidently expressing, planning and promoting new business ideas to senior management.
- Ensuring Finalto’s liquidity management and governance retains a consistently excellent reputation across our full spectrum of trading partners, as well as with the wider wholesale and retail trading industry as a whole.
Experience & Skills:
- First degree holder in any numerate discipline. Strong in Mathematics and Statistics
- 1-5 years experience in wholesale liquidity provision / management across multiple asset classes. Particular focus on FX / spot precious metals is a distinct advantage. Having an in depth understanding of the dynamics and interplay between liquidity provider and consumer is how and where we meet and overcome our challenges.
- Use of recognised analytic tools for extracting data and solving problems with large volume intraday time series datasets. Python / KDB / SQL are the key tools used across the team, but we will consider alternative experience (R / MatLab / OneTick / TimescaleDB etc).
- Experience of FIX execution protocol. Experience of liquidity transmission / execution tooling within the retail broker community (OneZero, PXM, Metatrader etc) is advantageous.
- Experience working with GIT, JIRA and other tooling that adds technical rigour would be a plus.
- Strong MS Office / presentation skills
- Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Above all a curious mind, a passion for high volume financial markets liquidity provision and an open, collegiate team attitude are absolute pre-requisites for the incoming person.
